Born in the heart of Europe, Austria, and living in the worlds music capital Vienna, Gerhard Lessky has performed and developed his artistry across Europe, Latin America and Asia. He studied with the composer Balduin Sulzer, “Orchestra-Conducting” at the Linz Bruckner University of Music and attended international Master classes given by Peter Gülke, Sir John Eliot Gardiner and Nikolaus Harnoncourt. From 1998-2000 he was engaged as an artistic-assistant at Wiener Hofmusikkapelle and also cooperated with the composer HK Gruber. Gerhard Lessky was awarded with the “Helmut-Schiff-Award” for young Austrian conductors. Scholarship from the International Richard Wagner Association.
