Haitham Assem Tantawy

Haitham Assem Tantawy, born in Cairo, is an opera and music theatre director, acting coach and performer. After an early musical education in piano and music theory (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), he received his Master of Arts degree in Performance Practices and Research from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama - University of London (2013). He then attended intensive physical and actor training programs in Poland, as well as in Italy at The Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards. As an actor/singer/dancer he performed with the internationally acclaimed and award-winning company Song of the Goat Theatre in Poland, participating in productions of Crazy God (based on Shakespeare's Hamlet) at Teatr Polski, and Portraits of Cherry Orchard (based on Ch
