The American lyric coloratura soprano, Heide Marvin Holcomb Janshon, studied at Ellison High School in · Killeen, Texas (1978-1982). She obtained her degrees in Muic and Music performance from Hardin–Simmons University in Abilene, Texas (1982-1986); and her Master of Music degree in Music Performance from Florida State University in Tallahassee (1988-1993). She is Heide holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Florida State University and is an alumnus of the Orlando Opera Resident Artist program, where she performed the roles of Antonia in Man of La Mancha, Juliette in Romeo et Juliette, Miss Wordsworth in Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring, Norina in Don Pasquale and Poppea in L'Incoronazione di Poppea.
