Jean-Vincent BLOT was born in Rennes and began working on his voice with Oleg Afonine and Martine Surais at the Conservatory in Rennes. He made his vocal studies at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris and obtained a prize in Malcolm Walker’s class and perfected in Master Class with Jeff Cohen, Hartmut Höll, Malcolm King, Margaret Hönig, Jean Philippe Lafont, and more recently with Jose Cura.
