Biography
Joé BERTILI Bass After successful studies in Engineering and beginning a career in the industry, Joé Bertili discovered opera, and quickly entered the Lyon Conservatoire in the class of Marcin Habela, then the Haute École de Musique de Genève, in Stuart Patterson’s class. He has continued his quest for excellence in masterclasses with Hedwig Fassbender, Gilles Cachemaille and Regina Werner. Very quickly, he had the opportunity to perform on both the operatic and concert stage. He has performed Leporello (Don Giovanni), Calchas (La Belle Helène), Haly (L’Italiana in Algeri), Bartolo (Le Nozze di Figaro), Balthazar (Amahl and the Night Visitors), Noah (Noye’s Fludde), Maestro Spinelloccio and Ser Amantio di Nicolao (Gianni Schicchi) and Lucas (L’ivrogne corrigé). In concert he has sung Bach’
