Biography
The Swiss soprano Katharina Willi completed her bachelor's degree at the Zurich University of the Arts in December 2020 with Lubica Orgonasova, Jane Thorner-Mengedoth and David Thorner. She has been part of the Swiss Opera Studio since September 2021 and studies with Tanja Ariane Baumgartner. In addition to her busy concert schedule, the young soprano can be seen regularly in opera productions, such as in the summer of 2021 as one of the main roles in Handel just before the end of the day , a small-format opera at the Scale Theater in Elgg. She was last seen in the production Babes in Toyland , directed by Olivier Tambosi, in April 2022. In the 2022/23 season she will make her debut as the first lady in The Magic Flute at the Bern Opera as Elevin , as well as appearing in the productions
