Bio: For over twenty years he has carried out continuous directing activities in Italy and abroad. His repertoire mainly concerns the musical theater and ranges from the compositions of Monteverdi (Orfeo, Il ballo delle ingrate, Il fighting by Tancredi and Clorinda) to Dido and Aeneas by Purcell; from the baroque masterpieces of Handel and Vivaldi (Tamerlano, Esther, Acis and Galatea, the Fida nymph) to the Alceste of Gluck; from the great Mozart repertoire (dapontian trilogy, Die zauberflote, Die schauspieldirektor) to the 800 of Rossini (The Barber of Seville, The promissory note and Il signor Bruschino) , Strauss (Die fledermaus) and Korsakov (Mozart and Salieri). Then comes the twentieth century of Puccini (Butterfly and Tosca) , Wolf-Ferrari (Susanna's secret) and Hans Krasa (Brundibar) . He curated some world premieres of ancient works ( Atalanta fugiens by Maier, Zamberlucco by Scarlatti, Marc'Antonio and Cleopatra by Hasse). Since 2010 he has also dedicated himself to contemporary opera collaborating with the Venice Conservatory and the Biennale Musica. He has set up for the La Fenice Theater, Goldoni Theater in Venice, Biennale Musica, Vicenza Olympic Theater, Treviso Municipal Theater, Mittelfest, Ferrara Municipal Theater, Gentile Theater in Fabriano, Umbria Stable Theater, Rendano Theater in Cosenza and all abroad has staged at the Teatro Principal in Vitoria, Teatro Principal in Saragoza, Teatro Principal in Zamora, Teatro Isabel la catolica in Granada, Auditorium in Tubingen, Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels, Riga Early Music Festival, JPAS Theater in New Orleance. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Renè Clemencic, Sergio Balestracci, Gianluca Capuano, Roberto Aronica, Gail Gilmore, Denia Mazzola Gavazzeni, Katia Ricciarelli, Enzo Dara, Marina De Liso, Leonardo Cortellazzi, Francesco Anile, Luca Dall'Amico, Abramo Rosalen , with cultural figures such as Piergiorgio Odifreddi and Nuria Nono Shomberg and with the actresses Barbara Eforo and Ottavia Piccolo. The national RAI has dedicated four specials to his work as a director. Since 2010 he has collaborated with the Viator (Mi) Editorial Group for which he has edited numerous publications.
