Biography
Margherita Colombo is a conductor, pianist and composer. After living and working for nine years in Germany as permanent conductor (1. Kapellmeister) of the Landestheater Niederbayern in Germany (2016-2019), as repetiteur and conductor (as Solorepetitorin mit Dirigierverpflichtung) at the Opera of Leipzig (2012-2016) as well as at the Nordhausen Theater (2011-2012), in 2019 she moved back to Italy and is currently employeed as a Vocal Coach at the Academy of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and as a teacher at the "Piccinni" Conservatory of Bari. She has been conducting several orchestras in Italy and abroad: Gewandhausorchester (Leipzig, Germany), the Niederbayerische Philharmonie (Passau, Germany), the Loh-Orchester Sondershausen (Nordhausen, Germany), the National Opera Orchestra of Ti
