The lyrical soprano Maria Pavlova was born in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. She received her musical education at the Pancho Vladigerov Music Academy in Sofia, from where she graduated in 2015. She has won several singing competitions and attended master classes with Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Fiorenza Cossotto, Stefka Evstatieva, and Emil Ivanov. Following her graduation, she was immediately engaged by the Varna National Opera and began performing key roles in lyrical coloratura, including Gilda in Rigoletto, Musetta in La Bohème, Oscar in Ballo in maschera, Adina in Elisir d’amore, Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia, or the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor.
