View cast and crewNorwegian soprano Marita Sølberg made her role debut as field marshal in David McVicar's Rosenkavalier production at the Norwegian National Opera in the 2018/19 season. In 2017 she performed as Desdemona in Otello together with Massimo Zanetti and the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera. The artist made her house debut at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden as Antonia in Les Contes d'Hoffmann. Other international guest engagements include Pamina in The Magic Flute at the Los Angeles Opera, Micaela in Carmen at the Minnesota Opera, Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) at the La Fenice Theater in Venice and Mimì in La Bohème at the Viennese State Opera. Marita Sølberg studied singing in Norway and then won the Queen Sonja International Music Competition and the Tom Wilhelmsens Foundation
