Biography
Belarusian tenor Pavel Petrov is winner of the First Prize and the Don Placido Domingo Ferrer Prize of Zarzuela of Operalia 2018, The World Opera Competition, third place of the Belvedere Competition and finalist of the Queen Sonja International Music competitions. Pavel’s forthcoming engagements include Hans (Bartered Bride) for Oper Graz; Steva (Jenufa) at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and he will finish the season singing the Duke of Mantua on the sea stage of the Bregenzer Festspiele . In seasons ahead Pavel will give house debuts at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opéra national de Paris, Glyndebourne Festival on tour and Opéra de Lausanne.
