Robyn Marie Lamp

Soprano Robyn Marie Lamp’s luscious, full-bodied voice, commanding stage presence, and engaging characterizations are earning this young artist recognition and roles from rare Bel Canto gems to world premieres. She will next be heard as Adele, and cover Metropolitan Opera soprano Angela Meade’s Imogene, in Bellini’s rarely heard Il pirata at Caramoor Music Festival; and will sing the title role of Ariadne auf Naxos in a reduced version of Strauss’ opera with south Florida’s Opera Fusion. She returns to Caramoor as a 2017 Bel Canto Young Artist, having made her company debut in 2014, covering the title role in Lucrezia Borgia.  The 2017 season has also found Ms. Lamp winning an Encouragement Award in the 2017 Gerda Lissner Competition and appearing as the soprano soloist in Brahms’ Ein Deut
