Biography
Stefano Sarzani cultivates an international career in both America and Europe. Currently associated with Den Jyske Opera (Danish National Opera), after his debut in 2016, he is confirmed as associate conductor of Des Moines Metro Opera for summer 2017. Mr. Sarzani is recipient of the Solti Foundation U.S. Career assistance Award 2016. He has collaborated with symphonic and operatic institutions including Boise Philharmonic Orchestra, National Repertory Orchestra (Colorado), Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo, Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, Atlanta Opera, and Sarasota Opera. Equally versed in symphonic and operatic repertoires, he is also invested in cultivating interactions among music, multimedia, and other art forms. Mr. Sarzani has been awarded the 2nd prize of “The American Prize 2012;
