Starring in leading roles at major US houses, Franco-American mezzo Stephanie Doche has impressed audiences with her outstanding technical skill and fierce stage presence. 2023 performances include Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia with Florida Grand Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, and Gulfshore Opera, Isabella in L’italiana in Algeri with St. Petersburg Opera Company, Piacere in Handel’s rarely produced Il trionfo del Tempo et del Disinganno with Jory Vinikour and Opera Neo, and the Alto Soloist in Handel’s Messiah with Palm Beach Symphony under the baton of Gerard Schwarz. She makes her house debut with San Diego Opera in 2024 singing Suzuki in Madama Butterfly.
