Biography
The bass Leonardo Jin comes from South Korea and began his musical education with Prof. Yohan Kim at the Myungji University in Yongin, South Korea. From 2019 to 2022 he studied singing in the master’s degree: music theater with Prof. Jan Hammar at the Nuremberg University of Music. He received additional impulses as a scholarship holder at the International Opera Workshop in Waiblingen with Thomas Hampson and Melanie Diener. He has already appeared on the opera stage in 2015 as Marchese d'Obigny in Verdi's LA TRAVIATA (Gwang-Ju Opera), in 2017 as Sarastro in Mozart's THE MAGIC FLUTE (Theatre of Myong-Ji University), in 2018 as Geronimo in Cimarosa's IL MATRIMONIO SEGRETO (Yangpyeong Opera ) and in 2021/22 as Uncle Bonzo in Puccini's MADAMA BUTTERFLY (Theater Lübeck): He was a finalist in
