My Escamillo debut in Carmen with Savonlinna Festival was postponed, but I still decided to spend some time with the Toreador part :) All filmed and edited without leaving my home, according to UK lock-down rules. NO to animal cruelty, though Toreador was obviously... well, a killer. And then I stumbled onto the more modern version of them, essentially reenacting an ancient Greek game with the bull, where the animal is not hurt but participants dodge it and jump over it. In my eyes, much braver then using pointed objects - they are called Recortadores... The idea was to strictly adhere to the Lock-down Production rules, have fun, tell the story and practice my rusty video editing skills.,
