Clare Tunney

Middlesbrough born Soprano, Clare Tunney, is an international Opera singer, specialising in German repertoire. She was a member of the Opernstudio at Staatsoper Stuttgart, where she performed roles such as Pamina, Erste Dame and Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, Helmwige in Die Walküre and Mutter in Hänsel und Gretel. She previously trained for 7 years at The Royal Academy of Music where she was a member of the prestigious Royal Academy Opera. She became a Geog Solti Accademia Scholar in 2019. She has been a Soprano soloist for many Oratorio works such as Verdi Requiem, Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle, Mendelsshon Elijah, Dvorak and Poulenc Stabat Mater, Brahms, Faure, Duruflé and Rutter Requiem's, Haydn Creation, Britten Ceremony of Carols and Rejoice in the Lamb, Mozart Mass in C mino
