Ivo Hentschel

Ivo Hentschel has made a name for himself as an experienced opera conductor and exciting concert conductor with his stylistically confident and at the same time inspired and lively reading of the scores. Since the 2021/2022 season he has been Music Director and Chief Conductor at Theater Hof, which he reopened after renovation with Cherubini's Médée .He is also a regular guest conductor at the Komische Oper Berlin, with which he has been closely associated since his debut in 2016 and the resulting engagement as Kapellmeister (without acting GMD for the 2017/2018 season).
