Biography
From 2020 to 2023, Swedish soprano Josefine Mindus was a member of the international opera studio of Komische Oper Berlin. There she sang, amongst other roles, Papagena Die Zauberflöte, Amore Orfeo ed Euridice, Zerlina Don Giovanni, First Wood Nymph Rusalka, Atalanta Xerxes and Euridice L’Orfeo. In the summer of 2022 Josefine made her Swedish debut at Vadstena Castle in the leading role of Bess McNeil in the Nordic premiere of Mazzolis Breaking the Waves. In September 2023, Josefine returns to Komische Oper Berlin to cover for the role of La Mort in the season opening of Das Floss der Medusa directed by Tobias Krazter and conducted by Titus Engel. In November she will sing two concerts at the Royal Swedish Opera in celebration of Ligetis 100th birthday, singing Gepopo in “Mysteries of
