Born in Southern Germany the Soprano, Manuela Uhl studied in Salzburg, Zürich and Freiburg. She started work at the opera houses in Kiel and Karlsruhe, before later working at the German Opera Berlin, where she was an Ensemble Member. To this day, she is often invited back, as it remains her base-opera house.
Since 2011 the singer has become internationally recognised and is now one of the most sought after interpreters of Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner’s works.
