Biography
Miriam Albano, from Venice, studied at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in her city and at the University of Music in Vienna. She perfected with artists such as Brigitte Fassbaender and Anne Sofie von Otter. She has won numerous international competitions, including Neue Stimmen (2015) in Germany and Francisco Viñas (2016) in Spain. Miriam represented Italy as a finalist in the Cardiff Singer of the World competition (2017) in the United Kingdom. In addition to her vocal talents, Miriam plays the violin. She recently received great public and critical acclaim for her performance of the role of Despina in W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte, performing at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Grand-Théâtre de Bordeaux, and the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna. From 2016 to 2019 she was a membe
