The quaint town of Loxford is home to Benjamin Brtitten's third opera. The light comedy piece tells the story of Albert who, like other heroes of the English composer's operas, has to face an oppressive world. We used to say he's the only one fair, today he's a nerd. 

The production was directed by Karolina Sofulak, known for her famous production of "Rustic Chivalry" at Opera North. The musical direction of the performance was assumed by Jerzy Wołosiuk, the artistic director of the Opera at the Castle in Szczecin.
