2024 Annual Joint Concert - Sunshine and Hope
The Joint Concert of "Journey of A Classic·Sacred Music" presenting by St. Gabriel Choir & Octangle Tainan Choir with the theme of "Sunshine and Hope" to praise God for shining the world, leading us to face life positively amid the pandemic. The repertoire includes Gounod's "Gallia" based on the Lamentations of Jeremiah, "Song of Mountain Travel" describing a majestic scenery of Wu-she , "My God Is A Rock" a spiritual song, and many other thought-provoking songs.

《經典•聖樂之旅九--陽光與希望》
1980年成立至今已進入43年的佳播聖詠團，2024年音樂會將以《經典•聖樂之旅九－陽光與希望》為主題演唱創作曲及改編曲，以表達感謝讚頌上主如太陽般光照我們，在疫情後引導我們在祂的光中安穩行進且不致迷途。本年度也將藉著與八角塔府城合唱團跨宗教的合作，同聲讚頌萬物之主在黑暗中引領我們、在傷感中開導我們，卻也在幸福中不忘記曾經的苦難。

音樂會將從進入Gounod的《加利亞》(Gallia)，古諾取材自耶肋米亞哀歌第一章的經文隱喻拿破崙戰敗後法國的苦難，最終人民懇求歸向上主。本場音樂會由此開啟布幕，用意即在提醒歷經二年多嚴重疫情後，造物主是人們心中最終的希望。

第二組曲目為林聲翕的《山旅之歌》，安排此套歌曲的目的在提醒人們，陽光普照的山林總是風姿綽約、萬千變化，不因人為的疫情而稍有失色。此包含六首歌曲的聯篇歌曲，為詩人黃瑩描述多次旅行橫貫公路霧社支線所親身感受的山光雲影。也是人們體會當太陽從東方升起之際，萬千景緻照耀著光影絢爛美麗，不知如何描繪，唯以口唱心和讚嘆造物主的奇妙化工。

下半場的曲目在三個主題中「太陽的祝福」、「太陽下翱翔」、「太陽與希望」分別演唱二首A Cappella歌曲〈Shenandoah〉、〈My God is A Rock〉，以及七首鋼琴伴奏歌曲〈Flight Song〉、〈Festival Sanctus〉、〈The Ground〉、〈Joshua Fit de Battle of Jericho〉、〈Come tu mi vuoi〉〈頌主鴻恩〉與〈願祢受讚頌〉。

整場音樂會樂曲創作時間橫跨三世紀，其中多首為國內年輕的作曲作詞者及神父、信徒等創作的歌曲與詠讚，分別以男聲五部、女聲三部、混聲四部呈現；歌詞語言則包含拉丁文、英文、中文、台語等。

陽光喚醒大地使萬物復甦，休養生息後又再度循著自創世之初天體運行萬物滋生的節奏飽飫生靈，直至日落。期許此場音樂會能讓參與演出者及觀眾感受一切受造物日復一日浸潤在愛與恩典中，且周而復始的在陽光中獲得永遠的希望。
