The first visit of the Choir of the Music Academy in Sarajevo as part of the diverse program of this year's festivities of the Passion Heritage was a valuable initiative of inter-republic cooperation with an attractive special program from the works of the French composer Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924), which attracted quite a curious audience to the Church of St. Petra. At the beginning, a Little Mass was performed for a three-part female choir and a soprano accompanied by an organ, as an introduction to the master's famous RequiemOp. 48 for mixed choir, soloists and orchestra, which replaced the organ on this occasion. Prof. played the portable organ in both compositions. of the Sarajevo Academy of Music, Fuad Šetić, and Alma Aganspahić, assistant at the Department of Choral Conducting at the Academy of Music in Sarajevo, conducted under the mentorship of visiting professor Jasenka Ostojić from Zagreb.

The vocal soloists were students of the Department of Solo Singing in Sarajevo. In Mala Misa, it was the insufficiently expressive and still inexperienced soprano Hana Salihović, 2nd year, and in Reqiem it was baritone Erol Ramadanović, 5th year, but also child soprano Noa Jugo, a gifted student in the third grade of the Elementary Music School Mladen Pozajić , who is timid, with pronounced trepidation, he sang the solo part in the Pie Jesu movement without enough certainty but cleanly. Baritone Erol Ramadanović was somewhat more successful, especially in the piece Libera me.



The Choir of the Music Academy in Sarajevo has a long tradition, nurtured by distinguished conductors such as Mladen Pozajić, Miroslav Homen and Čestimir Dušek, as well as professor emeritus Rešad Arnautović and finally his student and collaborator, senior assistant Alma Aganspahić, who graduated in 2010 in Choral Conducting in his class, and since 2014 he has been conducting the renowned Sarajevo inter-religious Choir Pontani. She is also an active member of the BellArte Association, as well as a member of the Institute for Contemporary Music Activity INSAM. She conducted many ensembles and opera houses in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, and gained valuable experience that came to the fore in this performance as well.

The choir was well prepared and mostly sounded clean, stylistically appropriate and harmonious, especially in the small but popular little Requiem ., to that touching and gentle music of deep religious feelings, calm and gentle, without the apocalyptic horrors that we find, for example, in the works of the same name by Berlioz or Verdi. We would single out the movement Sanctus , and the already mentioned Libera me , which was repeated in the appendix, but this time under the direction of a student, Fr. Let's add that this program will soon be performed by the Choir of the Music Academy from Sarajevo at the opening of the renowned May Music Festival.

Prvo gostovanje Zbora Muzičke akademije u Sarajevu u sklopu raznovrsnog programa ovogodišnjih svečanosti Pasionske baštine bila je vrijedna inicijativa međurepubličke suradnje s privlačnim prigodnim programom iz opusa francuskog skladatelja Gabriela Fauréa (1845-1924), koji je privukao dosta znatiželjne publike u Crkvu sv. Petra. Na početku je izvedena Mala misa za troglasni ženski zbor i sopran uz orgulje, kao uvod u znameniti majstorov Requiem op. 48  za mješoviti zbor, soliste i orkestar, koji su u ovoj prigodi zamijenili orgulje. Na prijenosnim orguljama u obje skladbe svirao je prof. sarajevske Muzičke akademije Fuad Šetić, a dirigirala je Alma Aganspahić, asistentica na Odsjeku za zborsko dirigiranje na Muzičkoj akademiji u Sarajevu, pod mentorstvom od ove godine gostujuće profesorice Jasenke Ostojić iz Zagreba.

Vokalni solisti bili su studenti sarajevskog Odsjeka za solo-pjevanje. U Maloj misi bila je to nedovoljno izražajna i još neiskusna sopranistica Hana Salihović, 2. godina, a u Reqiemu bariton Erol Ramadanović, 5. godina, ali i dječji sopran Noa Jugo, daroviti učenik trećeg razreda Osnovne muzičke škole Mladen Pozajić, koji je bojažljivo, uz naglašenu tremu, bez dovoljno sigurnosti ali čisto otpjevao solističku dionicu u stavku Pie Jesu. Bariton Erol Ramadanović bio je nešto uspješniji, naročito u stavku Libera me.



Zbor Muzičke akademije u Sarajevu ima dugu tradiciju, koju su njegovali ugledni dirigenti poput Mladena Pozajića, Miroslava Homena i Čestimira Dušeka, te profesora emeritusa Rešada Arnautovića i konačno njegove učenice i suradnice, više asistentice Alme Aganspahić, koja je 2010. diplomirala Zborsko dirigiranje u njegovom razredu, a od 2014. dirigira renomiranim sarajevskim inter-religijskim Zborom Pontanima. Ujedno je i aktivna članica Udruženja BellArte, kao i članica Instituta za suvremenu muzičku djelatnost INSAM. Dirigirala je mnogim ansamblima i opernim kućama u BiH i u inozemstvu, te stekla dragocjeno iskustvo koje je došlo do izražaja i na ovom nastupu.

Zbor je bio dobro pripremljen te je uglavnom zvučao čisto, stilski primjereno i skladno, napose u nevelikom ali popularnom malom Requiemu, toj dirljivoj i nježnoj glazbi dubokih religioznih osjećaja, smirenoj i blagoj, bez apokaliptičkih strahota koje primjerice nalazimo u istoimenim djelima Berlioza ili Verdija. Izdvojili bismo stavak Sanctus, te  već spomenuti Libera me,  koji je ponovljen u dodatku, ali ovaj put pod ravnanjem također studenta fra Emanuela Josića, člana Zbora Muzičke akademije, pa je i njemu pružena mala prilika da pokaže svoje sposobnosti. Dodajmo da će taj program Zbor Muzičke akademije iz Sarajeva uskoro izvesti i na otvorenju renomiranog festivala Majske muzičke svečanosti.
