The opera was written in 1974, in this stage version staged in Perm in 2000. 2016 relaunch.

Funny, funny, informative performance helps young viewers to get acquainted with the musical theater. All the main characters of the performance are animated components of the musical theater: Instruments and Voices, Choir and Orchestra. Spectators sing and play along with clowns - Sad and Cheerful. Together with the Detective, they go in search of the Blue Diamond stolen from the palace of King II and Queen Zevunya XIII, because of the loss of which Princess Teardrop sheds bitter tears. And in the finale they get to the ball, where after an hour of adventures in the Opera Country every musical instrument is already perceived as a good old friend. The performance is built on the presentation of the children's audience by all the beloved and recognizable theatrical characters, as well as on the comic citation of famous scenes from musical performances.
