Da Annastaciya Andrukhiv stod på scenen den 23. Februar 2022, vidste hun ikke, at det ville blive hendes sidste koncert, inden hun måtte flygte fra krigen i Ukraine allerede dagen efter. Nu bor hun i et sommerhus i Saltum med sparsomt nyt fra venner og familie og usikker på, hvad fremtiden bringer.

Derfor glæder den 28-årige mezzosopran sig særligt meget til at holde støttekoncert for hjemlandet i forbindelse med Aalborg Operafestival. Det vil blive en koncert med værker af Di Chiara, Gomez, Bizet og folkesange fra Ukraine. Der vil være mulighed for at donere til det krigshærgede land.

Annastaciya Andrukhiv har siden 2017 været ansat på Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko Theater of Opera and Ballet og har optrådt både i Ukraine og udenlands.

Annastaciya er taknemmelig for den danske gæstfrihed og ønsker sig et klaver, så hun kan fortsætte med at dygtiggøre sig indenfor sangen. Hun drømmer om at vende hjem til et fredeligt Ukraine.

When Annastaciya Andrukhiv stood on stage on 23 February 2022, she did not know that it would be her last concert before she had to flee the war in Ukraine the very next day. Now she lives in a summer house in Saltum with little news from friends and family and unsure of what the future holds.

Therefore, the 28-year-old mezzo-soprano is particularly looking forward to holding a support concert for her home country in connection with the Aalborg Opera Festival. It will be a concert with works by Di Chiara, Gomez, Bizet and folk songs from Ukraine. There will be an opportunity to donate to the war-torn country.

Since 2017, Annastaciya Andrukhiv has been employed at the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko Theater of Opera and Ballet and has performed both in Ukraine and abroad.

Annastaciya is grateful for the Danish hospitality and wants a piano so that she can continue to improve her skills in singing. She dreams of returning home to a peaceful Ukraine.
