With the main purpose of offering an interpretation faithful to the original score, maintaining the development of the voices as written by Bach and thus avoiding transcriptions, in some counterpoints the Quartetto di Cremona has added additional instruments, therefore totalling no fewer than seven instruments on stage between them.
