The bohemian atmosphere of Paris is reflected when a good number of artists of various specialties all gather in a tavern singing hymns of joy, prosperity and freedom.

Cossette's Recital is about to begin and S. Girard presents the new artist who will be accompanied on the piano by his own father. Cossette asks Roberto if he wants to be her accompanying pianist, with the approval of the father who very excitedly accepts. Roberto agrees, flattered and confused, asking for the score to accompany it. She gives him her own Luzbel opera and he doesn't give credit to what's going on. The opera duo is a resounding success and S. Girard is very pleased to have discovered and presented in one night a new singer, a new composer and a new poet.

L’ambient de bohèmia de París es reflexa quan un bon número d’artistes de diverses especialitats es reuneixen tots en una taberna cantant himnes d’alegria, prosperitat i llibertat.

El Recital de Cossette està a punt de començar i el S.Girard fa la presentació de la nova artista a la que acompanyarà al piano el seu propi pare. Cossette demana a Roberto si vol ser ell el seu pianista acompanyant, amb el beneplàcit del pare que ben emocionat accepta. Roberto accedeix afalagat i confós demanant la partitura que ha d’acompanyar. Ella li entrega la seva pròpia òpera Luzbel i ell no dona crèdit al què està passant. El duo de l’òpera és un èxit apoteòsic i el S. Girard queda molt satisfet d’haver descobert i presentat en una sola nit una nova cantant, un nou compositor i un novell poeta.
