Proven collaboration with stars of the vocal scene
The soloists of the evening, the soprano Susanne Bernhard and the baritone Benjamin Appl, touched the audience in 2018 at the performance of Britten's "War Requiem" conducted by Andrew Manze. The NDR Vocal Ensemble and the WDR Radio Choir take on the magnificent and dominating choral part.

Festival in honor of Johannes Brahms
At the premiere of the work in Bremen Cathedral in 1868, the 35-year-old Brahms himself stood at the conductor's podium. And what Clara Schumann, who was present, wrote afterwards can be understood and felt in a special way, especially in our present:
