Perfectly balanced sound Many aspiring music talents go their own way, undeterred and with full commitment - and do everything right! This year's featured artist Bruce Liu is also on such a path, or better yet, on the fast track to building a brilliant career as a concert pianist. But that requires something else: multifacetedness - which the young Canadian can definitely demonstrate on his instrument, as he presents himself in exciting solo evenings as well as in large orchestral concerts and also in chamber music. In this concert he can be experienced together with a string trio. And with piano quartets by Brahms and Fauré, a musical combination that should be given a stage much more often, its composition fits together perfectly in many respects.
