Siblings can be very different. But sometimes they are also very similar. This was the case with Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, who understood each other very well both musically and personally. Felix was only 14 years old when he wrote his Concerto for Two Pianos in E major and performed it with his sister, who was five years older. And as there was no orchestra available at the time, they played the orchestral parts on the two pianos. Lucas and Arthur Jussen, the Dutch brothers who have regularly caused a sensation in concert halls for more than ten years, are likely to be similarly virtuosic: not only with their highly skillful playing, but also with their profound interpretations. Incidentally, they don't want to be described as prodigies: "We're just normal guys. We just love playing music." This is accompanied by Bruckner's Fourth Symphony, the "Romantic", which still evokes a longing for nature today with its bird and hunting calls.

Geschwister können sehr unterschiedlich sein. Aber manchmal sind sie sich auch sehr ähnlich. So Fanny und Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, die sich musikalisch, aber auch menschlich aufs Beste verstanden. Erst 14 Jahre alt war Felix, als er sein Konzert für zwei Klaviere in E-Dur schrieb und mit seiner fünf Jahre älteren Schwester aufführte. Und da gerade kein Orchester vorhanden war, spielten sie auf den beiden Klavieren gleich noch die Orchesterstimmen mit. Ähnlich virtuos dürfte es bei Lucas und Arthur Jussen zugehen, den niederländischen Brüdern, die seit mehr als zehn Jahren regelmäßig für Furore in den Konzertsälen sorgen: nicht nur durch ihr höchst gekonntes Spiel, sondern auch durch tiefgründige Interpretationen. Übrigens: Als Wunderkinder wollen sie gar nicht bezeichnet werden: "Wir sind ganz normale Jungs. Wir lieben es einfach, Musik zu spielen" Dazu erklingt Bruckners Vierte Sinfonie, die "Romantische", die mit ihren Vogel- und Jagdrufen auch heute noch Sehnsucht nach Natur auslöst.
