The various ways these powerful human emotions manifest themselves was to be heard in famous arias and scenes by Mozart, Verdi and Tchaikovsky. The evening’s soloists were Christine Schäfer, Simon Keenlyside and Marcelo Àlvarez plus special guest Mirella Freni.
