To celebrate this New Year 2023 in a good mood, come and dive with us into the colorful and flavorful world of Spanish zarzuela – this Hispanic equivalent of our most beautiful comic operas and operettas!

The zarzuela is a typically Spanish genre. It is sometimes compared to our operettas or our comic operas, but by the tenor of their subjects, by the quality of their music, the zarzuelas are a real world in themselves! To celebrate the new year as it should be, Daniele Callegari offers us a selection of the most beautiful pages of the great zarzuelas, and invites two major interpreters of this repertoire: the soprano Rocío Pérez and the tenor Alejandro Roy. A moment of sharing and good humor not to be missed under any circumstances.
