Advent means arrival. What is meant is the arrival of the one who brings light into the world and the hope of peace. But it is also a time for us that offers us the opportunity to pause and escape from the stresses of everyday life. And it is the time of the Advent concerts. This year, the Lüneburg Symphony Orchestra are guests in Uelzen and accompany the St. Marien Kantorei under the direction of cantor Erik Matz with works by the English composers John Rutter and Ralph Vaughan Williams. So treat yourself to a break and bring some light into your heart in the contemplative atmosphere of the church.
