The comic opera is presented in translation under the title Such is all, or also in the literal translation That's how everyone does it. Mozart composed the opera on a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte, but only took it over after Salieri's previous unsuccessful attempt. He sensed enormous potential in this theme and created one of his top operas, based on an effective contrast between a intimate and simple story with an extremely rich and sophisticated musical expression. Not only the arias and ensembles themselves, which are today inseparably among the best opera "hits" of all time, but also their well-thought-out dramaturgy within the whole, their contrast, logical and surprising continuity make Così fan tutte still a living jewel of the opera repertoire. In 2019, the opera Così fan tutte celebrates 230 years since its inception.
