Two young officers - Ferrando and Guglielmo - praised the beauty and virtue of their brides - Dorabella and Fiordiligi. Old Don Alfonso was listening, and he promised to prove the doubtful fidelity of the women. A skilful mystification and a few simple theatrical procedures were enough - a costume under which the young men hid, hot love spells and dramatic gestures to break the hearts of timid women. Soon they were able to change the object of their feelings and were ready to succumb to "new" admirers. The signing of ready-made wedding contracts was prevented by the unexpected "return" of the appalled young men. The bet was lost, the betrayal discovered because... "that's what they all do."

Cosí fan tutte, ossia La scuola degli amante (They all do it, or The School of Lovers)Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote it in 1789, commissioned by Emperor Joseph II, and the excellent libretto was created by the irreplaceable Lorenzo da Ponte. The work mixes elements of the opera buffa and the series. The opera sparkles with humor and brilliance - both musically and literary, which ensured its immortality.

Dwaj młodzi oficerowie - Ferrando i Guglielmo, wysławiali piękno i cnotę swych narzeczonych - Dorabelli oraz Fiordiligi. Przysłuchiwał się temu stary Don Alfonso, który obiecał, że dowiedzie o wątpliwej wierności kobiet. Wystarczyła zręczna mistyfikacja i kilka prostych zabiegów teatralnych - kostium, pod którym ukryli się młodzieńcy, gorące zaklęcia miłosne i dramatyczne gesty, by skruszyć serca płochych niewiast. Już wkrótce zdolne były zmienić obiekt swych uczuć i gotowe ulec "nowym" adoratorom. Podpisaniu gotowych kontraktów ślubnych zapobiegł niespodziewany "powrót" zbulwersowanych młodzieńców. Zakład został przegrany, zdrada odkryta, bo... "tak czynią wszystkie".

Cosí fan tutte, ossia La scuola degli amante (Wszystkie tak czynią, czyli Szkoła kochanków) Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart napisał w 1789 roku na zamówienie cesarza Józefa II, a znakomite libretto stworzył niezastąpiony Lorenzo da Ponte. Dzieło miesza w sobie elementy opery buffa i seria. Opera skrzy się humorem i blaskiem - od strony muzycznej jak i literackiej, co zapewniło jej nieśmiertelność.
