Tonight he leads 'his' Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Also sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss, compelling from the grand sunrise to the tranquil end. Alexandre Kantorow is one of the greatest piano sensations of our time. He is the soloist in Beethoven's colorful and inventive Fourth Piano Concerto .

Richard Strauss's fascination with Nietzsche culminated in Also sprach Zarathustra , based on the philosopher's magnum opus. From the famous beginning, known from films and TV commercials, to the indecisive conclusion, this composition is permeated by Nietzsche's thinking: grand and hesitant at the same time. It is up to the British Daniel Harding and his Swedish Radio Orchestra to find the perfect balance between feeling and reason.

Alexandre Kantorow plays Beethoven
He is one of the greatest piano sensations of the moment, Alexandre Kantorow. The French man in his twenties won, among other things, the Tchaikovsky Competition and The Guardian recently praised his 'wonderfully flowing, quicksilver playing'. He is the soloist in Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto . Different compositions of instrument groups give each part of this inventive work a different color. Only at the end does everyone come together triumphantly.
