Already heard in September 2018 in Il Trovatore , Daniel Oren was to conduct I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata on our stage in April 2021. As the production could not see the light of day, the Maestro imagined a concert program with, as soloist, the Spanish soprano Saioa Hernández . Together, they take us on a journey between Verdi's work and verismo.

Saioa Hernández and Daniel Oren met during a production of Tosca at the Verona Arena. It is with enthusiasm that they will meet on our stage, for a program envisaged above all to highlight the voice of the one who is one of the rising stars of opera singing today, alongside symphonic pieces dear to the Maestro.

Déjà entendu en septembre 2018 dans Il Trovatore, Daniel Oren devait diriger I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata sur notre scène en avril 2021. La production n’ayant pas pu voir le jour, le Maestro a imaginé un programme de concert avec, en soliste, la soprano espagnole Saioa Hernández. Ensemble, ils nous convient à un voyage entre l’œuvre de Verdi et le vérisme.

Saioa Hernández et Daniel Oren se sont rencontrés lors d’une production de Tosca aux Arènes de Vérone. C’est avec enthousiasme qu’ils se retrouveront sur notre scène, pour un programme envisagé avant tout pour mettre en valeur la voix de celle qui est l’une des étoiles montantes du chant lyrique d’aujourd’hui, aux côtés de pièces symphoniques chères au Maestro.
