Last year he won a triumph
in recital at the Konzerthaus in Vienna.
His latest DVD devoted to Mozart concertos affirms him as one of the
today's greatest pianists.
David Fray returns this year to
Festival with Schubert (whose he engraved
for the disc the famous and sublime
Impromptus) and in the company of
baritone Edwin Crossley-Mercer, one
voices as long as we can
heard among others at the Paris Opera
in the production of The Merry Widow
this spring.
Together, David Fray and Edwin
Crossley-Mercer concocted for
us a sensitive journey to the heart of
Schubert, and his Lieder, to follow
the steps of the famous Wanderer, walking
his sublime and desperate quest.
David Fray is not just a great pianist. He loves singing and singers,
chamber music and Lieder.

David Fray revient cette année au
Festival avec Schubert (dont il a gravé
