Love and passion. Those are the common themes of Dido and Aeneas, the story of the queen of Carthage who falls in love with Aeneas killing herselt at his departure, and Le jeune homme et la mort, Roland Petit's famous ballet where a woman dressed in yellow pushes a young boy in salopette to commit suicide, then revealing herself as the Death. Roland Petit's masterpiece is starred for the first time in Italy by Alessandra Ferri and the cuban Yonah Acosta, principal dancer of the English National Ballet, on 1, 3 and 5 March, and the ukrainian Denys Cherevychko, étoile of the Wiener Staatsballet, on 8 and 10 March.

Questi i temi comuni di  Dido and Aeneas, la storia della regina di Cartagine che si innamora del giovane Enea uccidendosi alla sua partenza, e di Le jeune homme et la mort, il balletto di Roland Petit dove una donna dall'abito giallo spinge un giovane in salopette al suicidio, per poi rivelarsi a lui come la Morte. Il capolavoro di Roland Petit per la prima volta in Italia nell'interpretazione di Alessandra Ferri, che avrà come partner due angeli volanti: il cubano Yonah Acosta, principal dancer dell'English National Ballett il 1, 3 e 5 marzo, e l'ucraino Denys Cherevychko, étoile del Wiener Staatsballet l'8 e 10 marzo.
