The Magic Flute  as theater of the world: a work that evokes aging, hardship, the individual and the community. Who is right ? Who is manipulated? The world of  The Magic Flute  is troubled, everyone tries to find their way without trusting anyone. An essential figure on the French-speaking theatrical scene, Joan Mompart offers a creation in direct contact with the elements and the forces of nature. In a poetic and bubbling universe, his staging draws up a gallery of enigmatic and endearing characters. The Magic Flute here becomes a bewitching crossroads that upsets everyone's trajectory.

La Flûte enchantée comme théâtre du monde : une œuvre qui évoque le vieillissement, les épreuves, l’individu et la communauté. Qui a raison ? Qui est manipulé ? Le monde de La Flûte enchantée est trouble, chacun essaie de trouver son chemin sans faire confiance à personne. Figure incontournable de la scène théâtrale romande, Joan Mompart propose une création en prise directe avec les éléments et les forces de la nature. Dans un univers poétique et bouillonnant, sa mise en scène dresse une galerie de personnages énigmatiques et attachants. La Flûte enchantée devient ici un carrefour envoûtant qui bouleverse la trajectoire de chacun.

Die Zauberflöte als Theater der Welt: ein Werk über das Älterwerden, Lebensprüfungen, Individualität und Gemeinschaft. Wer ist im Recht? Wem ist Unrecht geschehen? Die Welt der Zauberflöte ist durcheinander, jeder misstraut dem andern und versucht, seinen Weg allein zu finden. – Als zentrale Figur der Westschweizer Theaterszene bringt Joan Mompart eine Zauberflöte auf die Bühne, die wesentlich durch die Natur und deren vier Elemente geprägt ist. In seiner Inszenierung wirft der Regisseur einen Blick auf rätselhafte und dennoch liebenswerte Charaktere. Die Zauberflöte wird zum Scheideweg, an dem sich die verschiedenen menschlichen Charaktere verlieren.
