For primary and lower secondary schools
OPERA TOMORROW | XXVII EDITION
A proposal that does not deny anything of the traditional Magic Flute, but offers a resonance of today's events and affirms the contemporary side of the adaptation proposed by the artistic team.
The Opera Domani Project is based on the mission of involving and thrilling young audiences of primary and lower secondary school age in opera, effectively acting through the school channel. The path in fact develops over the entire year.
THE FORMAT
The educational path for teachers is structured on meetings, on the training of students in the classroom and watching the show. The meetings are conducted by trainers specialized in the areas of reference: the didactic bases on opera, the preparation of the choirs for the show, the dramaturgical insights. During all the meetings, tools and methods are proposed to transmit in a simple but effective way the most important or more delicate notions to children of different ages and on how to propose the learning of songs in moments of training in the classroom, indicating additional material present on the section of online teaching of our site, suitable for IWBs.
In order for the path to develop a reflection during the year, each teacher receives a didactic handout with in-depth contents on the themes inherent in the work and on the most current connections that may arise from it to help children and young people both to approach opera and to exploit it as an effective tool for understanding the world and for individual growth.
Instead, students receive the libretto of the opera, an interactive poetic libretto, enriched with scores and didactic and recreational activities. Each year an audio book is also recorded for them to familiarize themselves with the plot in different ways, and a CD with audio recordings of the songs that the students will prepare as the opera choir. Finally, during the performance, the audience is invited to take an active part in the show, interacting and singing together with the artists of a real opera production with director and orchestra, singers and workers in an atmosphere that only the theater can create.

OPERA DOMANI | XXVII EDIZIONE
Una proposta che non rinnega nulla del tradizionale Flauto magico, ma propone una risonanza delle attualità odierne e afferma il lato contemporaneo dell’adattamento proposto dal team artistico.
Il Progetto Opera Domani si fonda sulla mission di coinvolgere e appassionare all’opera lirica il giovane pubblico dell’età scolare, primaria e secondaria di I grado, agendo effettivamente attraverso il canale scolastico. Il percorso si sviluppa infatti nell’arco dell’intero anno.
IL FORMAT
Il percorso didattico per insegnanti è strutturato su incontri, sulla formazione degli studenti in classe e la visione dello spettacolo. Gli incontri sono condotti da formatori specializzati negli ambiti di riferimento: le basi didattiche sull’opera lirica, la preparazione dei cori per lo spettacolo, gli approfondimenti drammaturgici. Durante tutti gli incontri vengono proposti strumenti e modalità per trasmettere in modo semplice ma efficace le nozioni più importanti o più delicate ai bambini di diverse età e su come proporre l’apprendimento dei canti nei momenti di formazione in classe, segnalando materiale ulteriore presente sulla sezione di didattica online del nostro sito, indicata per le LIM.
Perché il percorso sviluppi una riflessione nel corso dell’anno, ogni insegnante riceve una dispensa didattica con contenuti di approfondimento sulle tematiche insite nell’opera e sui collegamenti più attuali che possano scaturirne per aiutare bambini e ragazzi sia ad avvicinarsi all’opera lirica che a sfruttarla come effettivo strumento di comprensione del mondo e di crescita individuale.
Gli studenti ricevono invece il libretto dell’opera, un libretto poetico interattivo, arricchito di spartiti e attività didattiche e ricreative. Ogni anno viene anche registrato per loro un audiolibretto per familiarizzare in diversi modi con la trama, e un cd con le registrazioni audio dei canti che gli alunni prepareranno come coro dell’opera. Infine, durante la rappresentazione, la platea è invitata a prendere parte attiva allo spettacolo, interagendo e cantando insieme agli artisti di una vera e propria produzione lirica con direttore e orchestra, cantanti e maestranze in un’atmosfera che solo il teatro sa creare.
