In the jubilee year, when the Opera and Theater Madlenianum marked the first two decades of existence and successful work, she staged one of the world's most famous titles for the first time - Mozart's opera Don Giovanni , one of the most mature works of the great master of music. A special curiosity of this production is the fact that it is the result of cooperation with the National Theater in Belgrade and it is the first co-production of these two only opera houses in the capital.

It is well known that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, in 35 years of his short life, created an incredible opus of over 600 compositions of various formats and contents, including 20 operas, 49 symphonies, 26 string quartets, 25 piano concertos, 18 piano sonatas, many other chamber works, as well as numerous cantatas, masses and the inimitable Requiem in D minor

The opera Don Giovanni stands, side by side, with masterpieces by Mozart such as The Marriage of Figaro , The Magic Flute and So Do Everything , so for every theater in the world it is a matter of prestige to have at least one great work of a prodigy from Salzburg in its repertoire. On the stage of the Opera and Theater Madlenianum, Don Giovanni is even the third Mozart opera to be staged ( This is what everyone does in 2002 and The Magic Flute in 2013).

In this first co-production of private and state theater in our region, soloists, choir and orchestra of the National Theater in Belgrade will appear on the Madlenianum stage, directed by experienced Italian opera director Alberto Triola, and monumental scenography by Ticiano Santi from Italy. The great performing apparatus is under the baton of conductor Mark Bohemia. Contemporary, interesting and witty opera certainly attracts a lot of attention of the audience.
