Following Wales’ first match of the tournament against Uruguay, and anticipation of great things to come, relive an epic day: a day that confounded the expectations of even the most optimistic Welsh rugby fan. Saturday, March 17 2013, when England turned up to the Millennium Stadium looking to complete the Grand Slam. What they got was Wales 30 England 3. This score, against the odds, saw Wales win the Six Nations Championship.

Through the power of such mighty classics as Ride of the Valkyries by Wagner and Dance of The Knights from Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev, Eddie Butler will narrate the story of the day capturing the excitement and exhilaration of that fateful match. In a unique collaboration, this musical score will accompany the images of the match on BBC television and radio commentary from Gareth Charles.
