Zur Eröffnung präsentiert Klosters Music Kammermusik und Liederabend, kombiniert im traditionellen Stil der Abendkonzerte, die sich in den prächtigen Palästen zu Beethovens Zeit grosser Beliebtheit erfreuten. Das Wiener Klaviertrio, eines der weltweit bedeutenden Kammermusikensembles, leitet das Programm mit Haydns spritzigem Klaviertrio in C-Dur ein. Es folgt Beethovens Liederzyklus «An die ferne Geliebte», dargeboten vom jungen deutschen Bariton Benjamin Appl, seines Zeichens Sony Classic-Exklusivkünstler und Träger des begehrten Gramophone Award New Artist of the Year 2016. Das wundervoll tiefgründige Erzherzog-Trio beschliesst diesen ganz besonderen Konzertabend.

At the opening, Klosters Music presents chamber music and a song evening, combined in the traditional style of the evening concerts that were very popular in the magnificent palaces of Beethoven's time. The Vienna Piano Trio, one of the world's most important chamber music ensembles, opens the program with Haydn's lively Piano Trio in C major. This is followed by Beethoven's song cycle "To the distant beloved", performed by the young German baritone Benjamin Appl, Sony Classic exclusive artist and winner of the coveted Gramophone Award New Artist of the Year 2016 . The wonderfully profound Archduke Trio closes this very special concert evening.
