Vier verschiedene Konzertprogramme hat Mats die Hummel in dieser Spielzeit mitgebracht. In der Weihnachtszeit schwirrt er durch den Märchenwald und summt vergnügt Maurice Ravels „Ma mère l’oye“. Mit frisch geputzten Flügeln begibt er sich zuvor nach Amerika, inspiriert durch Antonín Dvořáks Sinfonie „Aus der Neuen Welt“. Zur Musik von Sergei Prokofjew trifft Mats dann im April auf Lieutenant Kijé. „Wie klingt wohl meine Lieblingsfarbe?“: fragt sich Mats im Museum und lauscht gebannt Modest Mussorgskis Klavierzyklus „Bilder einer Ausstellung“.

Mats the bumblebee has brought four different concert programs this season. During the Christmas season he buzzes through the fairytale forest and happily hums Maurice Ravel's "Ma mère l'oye". With freshly cleaned wings he goes to America, inspired by Antonín Dvořák's symphony "From the New World". In April, Mats will meet Lieutenant Kijé to the music of Sergei Prokofiev. "What does my favorite color sound like?": Mats asks himself in the museum and listens spellbound to Modest Mussorgsky's piano cycle "Pictures at an Exhibition".
