Es zählt zu den ältesten Dynastien der Region  – das Haus Arenberg, das seinen Stammsitz in der Eifel hat und ab dem Mittelalter seine Macht in Richtung Niederlande und Belgien ausdehnte. Doch nicht nur für die Politik hatte man eine Schwäche, sondern auch für die Künste. So geht die private Musiksammlung der Familie bis ins späte 17. Jahrhundert zurück. Und in den Dependancen etwa in Brüssel schauten berühmte Komponisten und Sänger bei den Arenbergs vorbei. Diese außergewöhnliche Familie und ihre wertvolle Notensammlung porträtiert die belgische Mezzosopranistin Coline Dutilleul zusammen mit dem in Gent gegründeten B'Rock. Auf dem Programm stehen Vokal- und Instrumentalmusik von Vivaldi, Händel, Campra und anderer Zeitgenossen.

It is one of the oldest dynasties in the region - the House of Arenberg, which has its headquarters in the Eifel and expanded its power towards the Netherlands and Belgium from the Middle Ages onwards. But they were not only weak in politics, but also in the arts. The family's private music collection dates back to the late 17th century. And famous composers and singers visited the Arenbergs in their branches in Brussels, for example. The Belgian mezzo-soprano Coline Dutilleul portrays this extraordinary family and their valuable music collection together with B'Rock, founded in Ghent. The program includes vocal and instrumental music by Vivaldi, Handel, Campra and other contemporaries.
