After a wild New Year's Eve party, some people feel like Mary Shalley's creature Frankenstein the next morning: Freshly assembled, the view is still a bit glassy and the head a kaleidoscope of wild scenes! There's hardly a better day for a festive hangover - and a healthy New Year's stroll - than the first day of the year. Under the musical direction of the designated general music director James Gaffigan , the orchestra of the Komische Oper Berlin, with the help of actor and jack of all trades Max Hopp , takes you on a wild trip into the New Year: from Joseph Haydn's Chaos aus der Creation to HK Gruber's pop-cultural fever dream of Frankenstein!!to the well-deserved evening blessing penned by Engelbert Humperdinck!
