The concert with readings scheduled for Friday 18 September 2020 is titled Gondellieder or Goethe and the boat songs: the actress Ottavia Piccolo will read pages from the Venetian diary of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, marked by the rediscovered barcarole by Johann Adolf Hasse which will be performed by the soprano Giulia Alberti and the asolists of the Venice Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Pietro Semenzato. The show enjoys the patronage and contribution of the Goethe Institut, the patronage of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany Milan and is produced by the Fenice together with the Italian-German Cultural Association of Venice, at the Venice Center for Digital and Public Humanities of the University Ca 'Foscari, with the production partner aA29 Project Room
