For his many years of service, the old master gives his journeyman Hans a large gold nugget, which is supposed to show him true happiness. Hans exchanges this for a horse, which in turn is exchanged for a cow, a pig, a goose and so on. And Hans always has the feeling that he is acting to his advantage. A fairy tale about economy and the really valuable things in life.

 

Shortly before the performance, the young guests are offered an entertaining introduction to the work. 

 

The crypt is pleasantly tempered at any time of the year.

Für seine jahrelangen Dienste schenkt der alte Meister seinem Gesellen Hans einen großen Goldklumpen, welcher ihm das wahre Glück zeigen soll. Hans tauscht diesen gegen ein Pferd, dieses wiederum gegen eine Kuh, ein Schwein, eine Gans und so weiter, ein. Und immer hat Hans dabei das Gefühl, er handelt zu seinem Vorteil. Ein Märchen über Ökonomie und die wirklich wertvollen Dinge im Leben.

 

Kurz vor der Vorstellung wird den jungen Gästen eine unterhaltsame Werkeinführung geboten. 

 

Die Krypta ist zu jeder Jahreszeit angenehm temperiert.
